14th of February. Valentine’s Day. Had already passed 16 Valentine’s Day in my whole life and I never feel like this before. Over here in college, it’s as if everyone’s promoting you to have a valentine. There’s this love note shoutouts, sending kisses to the one you’ve secretly admired for long time, buying stuff toys for your dear, roses and bouquets of flowers. It totally matches the saying ’love is in the air’. It’s like every breath u take, there’s a high concentration of love blending together with the air. Yes, it really makes one to have the desire to grab a boyfren or galfren and have a romantic dinner nightout in a restaurant. What could be better than having a dinner with your love one, with romantic background music played by saxophone, luxurious meal and matching ambience?
Talking about the Vday reminds me that i’ve never got a chance to spend my valentine’s with him. All these years, there’s always something that breaks two of us apart. It’s always that he’s either far away in KL or that he’s faraway in Sibu for the upcoming Chinese New Year. To sum up, this is the 3rd Valentine that I’ve passed since I got together with him. First year, I received the Levi’s couple baby-tee from him. But, he’s in Sibu. Second year, I received a box of chocolate airmailed all the way from KL and a Valentine’s card as tall as I am. But, he’s in KL. Third year, I received a necklace, platinum necklace from Diamond&Platinum. Finally, we got to spend the Vday together. He’s in KL and I’m in KL too =)
When you talk about any occassions celebrated in KL, people do it big. When I mean big, i do mean it’s merry. Every corner of the street is reminding you that the Vday’s coming, and you better grab something from the stores for your loved one or else u’ll be doomed, I can assure you of that. Teddy bears, roses, cards, chocolates, rings, necklaces, clothings, French cuisine, Thai cuisine, everyone has different likings with uncountable varieties. The streets are full with lovey-dovey couples, it’s easy to get jealous, especially when you are single and every single person is asking where are you going to spend ur night despite them knowing that you have no company, and you’ll be lonely when the lovebirds out there hold each other’s hands passionately. In my case, luckily, I have a company. I went to StationOne, a place where people sings on stage and you could have ur dedications done while indulging yourself in this love season. I love that place. Not romantic but somewhat special. Actually it’s not the place that matters, it’s who you’re with that really matters. Ain’t I right?
Not going to tell exactly how I spent my night that day but yea, I could feel love drowning me. 14th of February, a point where Part II starts after 10months of parting. You wouldnt understand what I’m saying unless you know me really well. Let us just keep it that way and we’ll live happily ever after =_=

Glad to hear that you’re having a happy V’day. =)
Well, in Brunei, they actually discourage V’day because it’s a St. Valentine’s Day, it’s a Christian celebration actually, so they’re ‘discouraging’ it, so yea. =)
And in KL, everything is 商机,especially V’day, time to grab $$ for them lo.. XD
新年快乐!
