Been back here for 7 days already and I finally got to set my foot in the Mall. Tonight has been rather special. Finally, an outing with cousins. I couldn’t remember when was the last time we had such outing. We don’t usually go out for a meal or gathering whether there’s a special occassion or not. Tonight, has been a rather unforgettable night.
A group of 14 or 15 invaded Excapade. Once I got there, I saw that face that I’ve been dwelling on these days. It was him. He just came back from hometown and was having a dinner together with family. Was amazed how we two were brought together at the same restaurant. Sigh, fate fate fate, what can I say? Haha. Later, saw Vita and her gang. She still looks as lengzai as she is. Haha. It aint joke! Even friends from KL asked me who that ‘lengzai’ is when I viewed her friendster pics and demanded for me to introduce ‘him’ to her. How attractive one could be? Haha. Sigh, another great product from Sibu. Proud to be a Fu-chow-ian. Haha.
Later, saw Wei and the gang at mall. Had a short talk with Wei, and our talks are somewhat ‘raw’. Since I left for KL, I think there’s a lil gap between us. Not only with Wei, even with Adrian too. My bestest fwen on earth and second best huh? What position are they standing in my heart right now? How do I measure their presence, their existence and their participation in my life right now? I could say they once seized a vast territory, but now, I couldn’t say that anymore. As a matter of fact, I guess I somewhat ‘neglected’ them while I’m away. Been busy coping up with life, don’t even have the leisure time to spend on chattings and writing a post. Clothes washing, food cooking, housemates gossiping; time just passed like that. Maybe I couldn’t get to be a smart organizer of my time yet.
People sets up new year resolutions, and ahwen’s going to set up her ‘new semester resolution’ today. Ngekngekngek.
First, no more Ramly burgers everynight! It’s making ur tummy bloating. You want no tummy that looks as if you are already pregnant with a soon-to-born baby right? NO BURGERS EVERYNIGHT! But one or two every week should be okay. Haha.
Second, no more nocturnal lifes. Sleeping not earlier than 1 am everynight after you went to KL is not a wise thing to do. Especially to your ‘delicate’ skin. It’s not a wise thing to do if you care for your health either. You don’t want people to be calling you auntie with those wrinkles of you when you are only 20 years old! You have class to attend early morning at 8, therefore, SLEEP EARLY! 11 is your bed time already. Don’t mess up your biological clock chabo!
Third, do your assignments on time and really do it when you are doing it. Don’t do it because you hafta pass up your work but do it with all your heart, put more effort and DON’T DO IT ON THE ELEVENTH HOUR! More self-study, be diligent, be keen on what you’re doing. It’s not going to benefit any other person other than yourself. Be the you who’s always full of enthusiasm in whatever what she’s doing.
Fourth, don’t be stingy to send a mail or message or even a call to fellows in Brunei. They are the best friends you have afterall. Keep in touch and update yourself with them. Try your best.
Last but not least, jot down what you undergo and be aware of the changes within you. Keep an eye on the blooming of maturity, stages of life you are experiencing, the acme of teenage life.
To conclude in a sentence, don’t be lazy and slack around anymore. Haha.
Well, after my resolution, back to the main talk today. After catching up with Wei, there we go to catch a movie, Ghostrider. Worth watching, two thumbs up from me, won’t hypnotize you. Grab a ticket and watch it if you want, I don’t want to be a story teller here and spoil the movie.
Oh my, oh my, look at the time now. 2:35am. What an early bird I’m being. Time to get some rest. Till here. Out and drop.

All this while, i thought Brunei is a great place, peaceful, and an almost perfect habitat for me despite it’s ’shortage’ of shopping complex, concerts, celebrities, themeparks, and entertainment. Now only I realise that it’s not such a great place afterall.
Minutes ago, I was browsing on the internet, looking for information about colleges and universities that might help in pursuing my studies next year. And half an hour later, or should i say ‘now’, i’m so damn frustated with the educational level in Brunei. Where’s the Minister of Education? Will you please kindly stand out and be a great savior to all of the students who are going to stick their arses in Brunei for the rest of their life like adding more courses available in UBD or do anything that helps promoting the education in the local area?
Type ‘foundation studies in brunei’ or ‘diploma programmes in brunei’ then you’ll know what i’m talking about. There’s only few ’college’ providing a higher level of studies in Brunei like Maktab Duli, UBD, IGS, Laksamana College, Cosmopolitan with courses like Business, A Levels, Accounting, Finance, Computer Studies, Business, A Levels, Accounting. Where’s the variety? Where’s the ‘creativity’? Where’s the Foundation In Art? Or maybe South Australian Matriculation? Is there any other foundation studies other than A Levels, A Levels and A Levels?
Now i understand why everyone is trying to squeeze their arses and get in Maktab Duli for A Levels. When there’s no second choice, you’ll hafta settle down with the only option u got. Ask MissAnne where she’s going after O Levels and she’ll say ‘Maktab Duli kua..’ then when u turn around and ask Mr.Bean, you’ll get ‘A Levels in MD eh?’ as the answer. Try asking Miss Cindy, Mr McD or MissEeeee, the answers should be the same. If there’s exception, then guess his or her answer shld be ‘i dno’ or maybe he or she might be another traitor escaping to Malaysia or Australia.
Malaysia? They have Curtin, Taylors, Sunway, USM, Monash, UCSI, LKW(LICT), KDU, KBU, IMU, Prime, IBS, Inti, AIMST, HELP, Swinburne, Nottingham, The One Academy, RIAM and the list goes on. Brunei? ISB, JIS, UBD, MD, and what else? Oh, and STPRI too, almost forgot bout it.
But still, Brunei, the well-known Abode of Peace, is the best place in the world or those taiwanese who said ‘Brunei is the richest country in the world’ everytime they got a chance to interview wuzun. That is, if your ic is in bright yellow colour. If it’s in green, you can choose to scram back to ur native country or work like a kerbau here.
